Street Fighter was ridiculously hype last night, and I woke up early this morning so that I didn't miss any Marvel. I'm looking forward to seeing the new tech people have on deck, in particular the Kubota escape (if it has any real application) and Justin Wong's new Wolverine tech.

Definitely hype, Justin Wong and Ricky Ortiz out before top 8, and I like almost all of the rest of the players in the tournament, see ultradavid's bracket: http://yfrog.com/z/nyhmkhmj. I can't remember who johnny cheng, zeng, or the top 2 in the loser's bracket are, but everyone else is awesome and they all play different characters (I think, on stream they said the only duplicate character was 2 Cammys in top 16, but I don't know who), so the finals on Sunday should be great.

Marvel is always crazy, been watching all morning, I love when Noah gets on the stream and every hit from his opponent is met with 'boo's and every hit from Noah is cheers. I don't play fighting games, so I'm not as keen on new tech, but I did see the video on ultradavid's twitter for the Kubota escape. If it does have application, should be some good hype.

I play Marvel, that's why I've had my ear out for the new tech. The reason the Kubota escape might not have much application in a real match is that you need to be capable of making a tag to use it, which means you have to be on the ground, not attacking, and not getting hit when your opponent uses their hypercombo.

Grave, what platform do you play on? And what team do you use?

I play on PS3 and right now I'm running Dante/Vergil/Magneto and learning Hawkeye to maybe replace Magneto. I'm also interested in eventually trying Kubo's team, Vergil/X-23/Dante.

On another note, the Kubota escape is ridiculously easy to perform when a situation where it's useful does come up, and I've already pulled it off in a match against my friend.

Add dcm217, I'd like to play some matches with you if the connection is decent.

I run multiple teams, mostly Spencer/Sent/Wesker and Hawkeye/Vergil/Wesker
