Since I started playing LoL again I see the 'meta' has shifted to champions that are top, jungle, mid, adc, and support now. Trying to pick a few champs for each and I'm kind of stuck on ADC. I like Ashe (Ult is fun lol) and Graves, but so far my Graves has never lost to an Ashe. He seems to be a complete ADC countering ADC, so I was wondering what you guys would suggest picking if I'm supposed to ADC and the other guys get Graves first.

Just won another one with Graves... I swear he is so OP. Every one of his skills does a bunch of extra crap. Q is a single burst and a farm skill, W is a ranged slow, AoE, range nerfer, and E is a dash move, as buff, and reduces it's own cooldown. Plus you have the classic 'defense offense' passive where getting AS gives me defense stacks faster. Oh yeah and I get a burst ult as wide as a bush...

I feel like total cheese playing him, but we were on a losing streak and I love my Mafia skin.

Graves is OP as shit in lane thanks to his burst and ridiculous defense passive. Paired with Soraka, he's basically unkillable.

Graves is decent but I've found his damage lacking compared to other AD carries, he has great mobility though and can escape and chase like a pro. If you like Ashe's ulti then I'd check out playing an AD Ezreal; he can be difficult since literally every ability he has is a skill shot but is one of the funnest champs I've played and has some sick range and mobility for laning. For a melee AD carry I'd prob recommend Fiora, prob the best duelist in the game and extremely fun, versatile (can solo top, build off-tank, etc) and amazing all around.

Any of you guys other than Nyck/Boxy still play semi-regularly ?

I play regularly non-ranked 5v5 draft with friends and solo, but honestly I'm not very good at this type of game. I tend to lose my lanes one way or another. Sometimes you get someone who can't find their keyboard and I get an easy win or you end up counter-picked and your jungle doesn't care, but when I do get a good match I either lose and have a poor farm, or I 'win' and they are close to my CS anyway. I tend to do best as support tanks because, well, support tanks can be crazy, reckless, and aren't supposed to CS early anyway. :P


I am a competent jungler on Hecarim and I'm eager to try similar tactics with more tank on Skarner but I get frustrated with it quickly. Everyone blames the jungle for everything and if you meet everyone's expectations you have no time left over to actually jungle and end up under leveled and under funded. I also like subtle tactics like running into a lane to make the other team blow their summoner spells and timers, then leaving if there's no kill. People tend to overcomit to these attacks and end up dying on the tower and complaining to me for not 'going in with them' to attackt he full health tanky top on his tower, but that's my ELO I guess.


I love Ezzy and I do enjoy his ult, but calling his attacks skill shots is an insult to skill shot champs. Quick casting his Q and W back to back is an instant hit inside 2/3rds range and VERY easy to lead out to max range. Coming from tossing Nid spears and Morg orbs I found it hillarious when he was released and I still find it hillarious today. I used to play Ryze because my friend said he was easy, and it was. I'd run up and flash in just out of melee range for his bouncy skill and dump all my skills to vaporize people. I have had very good results with Ezzy the exact same way except he doesn't even need Flash, he can blink Exhaust/Ignite, burst, then his passive kicks in and he can auto attack like a boss until his next burst is up, and he doesn't need to chase low HP targets because he can wipe the lane with his ult. His kit is frankly over powered. It's just a matter of where Riot has tweaked his numbers in any given patch.

Yeah EZ is pretty ez. My favorite carry is Udyr but that's just because I love jangling and ganking.

Yeah I don't think any of us consider ourselves great, I'm probably above average at best and only on certain champions and I like to fuck around on new champs so sometimes I consider myself lucky if I can keep an even KDR. Usually when I play with friends it's just for fun, if I seriously cared about winning I'll go do ranked, I only get upset if we have someone truly retarded :P Anyways, I'm on basically every day and I make Boxy play with me sometimes, if you guys wanna do some matches you should hit me up, my Summoner name is Geathiel and I think Boxy's is News Team or something.

Agnomic is my summoner name. I play a bit every day usually. I have found that Jayce is an amazing champion and play a lot of different roles. I like trying fun lane combos, specifically different dps/cc combos.

Yea, I've been pretty much playing only LoL since last fall(and for at least 3-4 games a day), my comp is too shitty to play any of the high end games that have come out recently. And LoL is my MOBA of choice =3. Waiting to upgrade my comp for GW2 sexiness.

Eh, not really. Banshee's Veil pretty much shuts her up and her impact on a teamfight is negligible. I don't know if he got changed since I don't see him too often anymore, but I fear a good Brand a lot more than any Leblanc.

She's a little bit difficult to play properly but if she gets even just a little bit fed early she has insta kill potential early/mid game with what is probably the biggest burst in the game. She's good in small skirmishes with her W and E abilities but ya she falls off in bigger group fights especially late game with her lack of CC and AoE's.

Been messing around on an AP Lulu since she's been free this week and been having a ton of fun.

Banshee's Veil is an awful item. They made it virtually unusuable a long time ago. Too easy to pop and 60 second cd. Le Blanc is okay against below average players, but she doesn't work well at even my elo because people are smart enough to build magic resist and then she's useless.
