Guild Wars 2 - Which server will you be on?

Ill be on Sanctum of Rall. It was named after a member of the community that passed away. (Here's the article)

Everyone else have a server picked out already? If you don'y have one picked out yet, consider coming to Sanctum of Rall maybe.

I'll be rolling on Maguuma with Goon Squad, but I would be happy to join a Catacombs guild so we can at least PvE together.

Sanctum is good with me. Every time I go exploring there in beta I run into someone who wants to group, which makes for a fun few hours... better than going solo imo.

Interesting. It sounds like:
No guesting at launch (playing pve on other servers)
Free server transfers for a little while

At launch, players will be able to transfer between worlds freely. However, once server populations have largely settled and stabilized, world transfers will be restricted to once a week and cost a variable amount of gems based on the population of the world being transferred to.

In time, we’ll also introduce free “guesting,” which will allow players to visit other worlds as guests as long as they have friends on those worlds. This feature will be free, but guest players will not be able to enter World vs. World, and the Power of the Mists bonuses from their home world will continue to apply to their characters.

I'm rolling on Jade Quarry, because it seems to be a popular destination for ex-DAoC/WAR players. There's a community website at www.jadequarry.com with some of the community introducing themselves, and I have to say that in this thread alone, there are a surprising number of old names I recognize, despite not having seen them for a number of years. I believe Sorrow's Furnace was the second most popular choice in the poll, and Sanctum of Rall the third.

I'm guessing Jade Quarry will be massively overpopulated. All the poll's I've seen show it as a top destination. Still, the wvwvw there will probably be great! Yak's Bend will most likely end up being your biggest rival!

Anyone who shows up on Sanctum of Rall I will have a guild set up there. I have a forum in place and a 50 person mumble server. It will be affiliated with my game news site.

Well, I've had mixed evidence Stalis. Its been flawless on some weekends and unplayable on others. But I'm playing in the South.

Most European goons have been playing on US servers without significant lag. If you live anywhere in America you should be fine.
