Yeah so there was some kind of 10 day trial for the Witch King expansion. I downloaded the necessary stuff, let it sit for 7 days without doing anything (just wanted to do something different to break up the Star Wars routine for a bit). But the last 3 days I went from like 21 to 30 just playing casually. I think it's the first time I've actually played through that Duskwood or whatever area. (halloween type theme). I know it's the first time I've ever played in Stranglethorn and I found myself liking the feel of the area. That free play trial is up but I enjoyed a little battleground action on my hunter as well and am seriously thinking about just goofing off on WoW a little bit. I've never actually done any raiding outside of DAoC/Warhammer and it was very limited in War. I've considered joining a big guild and trying out the raiding in WoW for a few reasons, the 2 primary being it'll be something different for a change and one day I'd like to have some actual experience from WoW to reflect on. I mean it is the biggest MMO of all time and whether I agree with it's success or not, having so little experience with it would be a little like never hearing the Beetles even if you hate their style.
So I guess my question is, can you think of any reason to talk me out of it? And 2ndly is the game being as old as it is going to make it super hard to participate in? I've noticed inflation is a freaking beast on the auction hall but is there anything else I should worry about?
