    Default Gravity waves "spotted" from white dwarf pair

    A team working out of Texas have caught the first direct visual evidence of gravity waves coming from an orbiting pair of white dwarfs, helping to confirm another aspect of Einstein's General Theory of Relativity. Obviously, they have more work to do, but it's an encouraging development.

    I read a whole book about the search for these some years ago! Always thought LIGO was a cool concept. This method isn't quite as exciting, but cool stuff either way!
