I tried this in red v blue for a match before work. My team was a bunch of total pussies that refused to fight anything so we lost super hard and I just got stomped a bunch of times, but when I found chances to fight 1v1 and 1v2 I was fucking people up. The warrior is surprisingly tough even when built glass cannon. As an experiment I fought an ele who seemed to have a hard on for me 1v1 and did not use any skills to beat her. I just applied my vulnerable at the start and let my basic #1 slot attack chew her up. Stood in her fire storm and lava font and everything, still killed her first.

It focuses more on utility and crowd control, and stacks condition damage for your auto-attack bleed. Anyone attempting to melee you will have a hard time getting in with all of your knockbacks, cripples, and immobilizes, and a a rifle warrior is no slouch in a range v. range fight either. The main downside of this particular setup is that it looses a lot of its effectiveness in underwater combat, which can be a problem in Raid on the Capricorn.

Can't wait until people start running anti-condition builds to destroy things like that. If he went up against a necro who was kitted for transferring conditions he would get wrecked :P.

I'd agree with you under most circumstances, as long as his FOUR condition removers were on cool down. Actually, I did wreck someone using that build in the beta with my mesmer reflect field over the guy thing. But that was just because the other guy must have been a n00b... He just stood there in the field and raped himself.

I had a tall glass of jameson on the rox last night, and decided to do some sPvP. First I did a thief posioner build and it was absurd. I was raping people like crazy, even took out another thief and warrior on a 2 v 1. It felt so OP'd.
I did a trap ranger point defender after and finally died a few times. It felt really good too,but not op'd like thief. I mean as long as you are smart enough not to walk into my traps over and over.

My double meditation build on my guardian using hammer and scepter/focus as my defensive set. I swap out SYG for bane signet or Contemplation of Purity depending on the match and what I'm assigned to do.

This is my proposed ranger build. Focuses on straight up power for damage, and evasion for survivability. Quickening Zephyr for when I want to burst someone. No condition removal other than Empathic Bond, which will be my weakness, but I'm going to steer clear of conditionmancers when I find myself up against a good one anyway.
