    Default Hey Tao, remember what we were talking about yesterday?

    From today's patch notes:

    Engineer
    Rocket Boots: This skill is no longer usable underwater. This is a temporary change until we can figure out why players can launch themselves into the sky using this skill.
    Detonate Mine Field: This skill is no longer a blast finisher.

    So sad. I want a good blast class. Guardian staff is pretty good for this too, but I'm not sure how well I can increase the duration on other players...

    The Thief profession is great at spamming combo finishers, they just have a shortage of their own combo fields.

    It looks like their only blast is Cluster Bomb. Can it blast x3 when you trigger the bombs to split? I like blasts because they are the only ones that buff your group and the might buff is like 25 seconds long.

    I would imagine so, and since it costs only 3 initiative you can spam it. If I get a chance tomorrow and remember to do so I will test it (I usually run Dagger/Dagger which is good at spamming the other three finishers).

    EDIT: I just tested it now, and it seems like it might not even trigger a blast if you split the bomb (I'm not positive though because it was hard to test with the Thief's shitty combo fields), but that being said if you can still spam it and stack might pretty high if that is your goal.

    The blast finisher for cluster bomb is only if you let the bomb explode rather than setting it off.

    Thanks. I guess the engi is pretty good with blasts. They can do 4x with shield, rocket boots, mine, bombs when fixed or detonate turret.

    Keep in mind the thief blast finisher is the best in the game when used correctly.

    Yeah, just due to the way the initiative system works, the thief profession is the best at finishers, period.

    If you stand over whatever field you're trying to finish you can just spam it and quickly up your might stacks.

    To expand upon this: Thief weapon skills don't have cooldowns; they cost initiative, a quickly regenerating resource. They also have traits that increase the amount of initiative they have available, and traited properly a thief can spam a single attack many, many times before they run out of initiative.
