Hey guys, I need your help in making my halloween costume

I'm planning to dress as Wilfred. My friend looks just like Elijah Wood, so we are gonna team up and hit some parties/bars. The official costume is $100, however I'm pretty sure it won't fit me, because I'm 6'4" and it says "one size fits most."

I'm trying to think of a way to create my own, but I am drawing a blank. I'd like to keep it under $50, so if you guys can think of any ideas, let me know.

I looked at that page, but the picture of the guy looked so shitty I didn't bother reading the guide.

As of now, I am looking at buying a grey sweatsuit, grey mittens, and some solid grey socks for the ears.
