    Default Oct 1st patch

    https://forum-en.guildwars2.com/foru...tober-1st-2012

    Professions
    General
Profession bundle weapons (engineer kits, elementalist conjure skills, warrior banners) can now save their autoattack status.

The following profession skills now hit 3 targets instead of 1:
Elementalist Dagger: Lightning Whip, Lightning Touch
Mesmer Spear: Stab, Jab, Evasive Strike
Ranger Spear: Stab, Jab, Evasive Strike, Dart, Counterstrike
Thief Spear: Stab, Jab, Poison Tip Strike, Nine Tailed Strike
Warrior Spear: Stab, Jab, Impale, Mariner’s Frenzy, Parry
    WIN

I play an air ele, a flamer/elixer engineer, and a warrior who uses a banner.

They forgot to add in that they made humans wearing light armor nude in the patch. LOLOLOL.

So I finally came back to GW2 the other night, and I've finished 100%'n the starting zones.

    1) Were the books always lv40 and 60? I could have sworn they were 20 and 30 when the game came out. I actually bought the #3 book and got REAL pissed when I couldn't use it. I made no cash on the starting zones at all. Repairs, salvaging kits, and harvesting gear just about broke even with cash drops. Had to sell some of the gems I'd bought for gold. Now it's just chilling in my bank making me look stupid until lv60.

    2) Where should I go from here? There are lots of 15-25 zones. I have my eye on Kessex Hills first just because I want somewhere green and bright after doing the Norn ice area last, but after that I'm wide open.

Kessex Hills is a good zone. I don't remember where I went after that but from 25-40 or so I was WvWing.

My favorite 15-25 zone is easily brisband wilds, I'm very partial to Asura though.

Did you do all the jumping puzzles in each zone too?

No. I assumed I had because I had all the Vistas and POI's but I googled around and it looks like there are a bunch in zones I don't recall doing any jumping. Going back to a few to see if they look familiar.

I can take you to all of them. Were you on Rall? You're never representing so I forget.

Actually, they fixed that glitch in the patch.

Transmuted cultural armor now prevents opposing races from equipping it.
It was a bug with one of the cultural armor sets that wasn't designed for humans.

After ripping TSW a new one over bad design I feel really strange praising this in another MMO, but these jumping puzzles in GW2 are awesome. I had only done Sharkmaw Caverns and the floating rock spiral in the Sylvari starting area. I didn't think of Sharkmaw as a 'jumping' puzzle and the Sylvari spiral wasn't what I'd call a 'puzzle' at all, but after doing some others like the Demongrub caverns I'm a lot more interested. False endings, lots of directions, hidden entrances. Serious tomb raider shit.

The jumping puzzles are awesome. The one in the Asura starting zone is fun on a bun.

I've done all the jumping puzzles at this point. They're a lot of fun, though most of the chests at the end are full of garbage.

Are you sure you got to the real end? A lot of them have normal chests, but continue on and end up at a splendid. I have been finding decent stuff in the splendid chests.

Yes. I don't consider greens 6 levels below me to be "decent stuff" personally. On occasion you'll get lucky and find a decent rune or sigil, but it's mostly crap.
