-Agent of Satan, but my duties are largely ceremonial.
-"Personally, I play a warlock to set people on fire as they run in fear while I steal their souls. As an added perk, I play an undead warlock so I can eat their brains afterwards. I suppose a better question is, why do people play anything else?" (Unknown WoW forum poster)
I've been tossing around the idea of uninstalling it. They did some big map update though so i'll probably give it one more shot before I do so. No clue what side i'll play on, or server, for that matter. Probably base it on the other responses that are in this thread, should there be any.
I'd be playing it if I had the hardware. That said, I'm not desperate. I haven't kept up with it much since beta released, but it seems to have received a lukewarm reception from my outfit. They put command chat in yet?

I work the weekends, but next week I'll be back as NC on a US East server.
I prefer command rank spawn points to global chat. People with global chat were often bad at strategy and served little purpose beyond giving the zerg something shiny to run towards. The command rank spawn beacon thingamajig accomplishes that without issue by giving the zerg somewhere to respawn near what you want them to take/defend.
Not global chat, command chat. A way for outfit leaders and commanders to communicate with each other?

You guys are talking about the same thing.
No, they're very different. Global chat (/comall) is the chat everyone on your empire can see, where people would commonly give bad orders to the zerg without consulting other commanders or make themselves look stupid by saying something irrelevant. Command chat (/c) was a chat channel that only CR4s and CR5s could see (each rank got their own channels), which allowed leaders to communicate just amongst themselves. It was almost like an outfit in itself and often helped get shit done in regards to things that were too out of the way for the zerg to deal with.
