Immortality. I'd like to be the guy that has to move every 5 years while silently becoming a genius because I get unlimited time. With no natural cause of death, murder or folly is the only way I'll go. Hardcore PvP mode, activated.


That and because one of my biggest disappointments about death is no longer being able to perceive in any way. I'm cool with not having a body, a life, love etc - most things lost in death aren't that big of a deal to me compared to not being able to see what happens down the road, that's a bummer. I just wanna be in the back, watching and thinking, for as long as I can stay out of harm's way. A longer life is the most valuable thing on that list!

This this a thousand times this. It's not even a question in my mind. Life that goes on forever? No aging and immune to disease? Sign me up. I can master any skill I want and never lose natural ability, so I'll be the best at everything, and with the age of efficient space exploration coming up relatively soon, I could survive a trip long enough to make contact with alien life if we ever found it. Plus I wouldn't be at risk for some kind of War of the Worlds alien disease. And that reminds me, immunity to any kind of zombie apocalypse virus is a major plus.

No... some of us just don't assume we need a magic power to get smarter over time.

Personally I'm with Andile. At the end of the day we are all social animals and the mentalist powers are a shortcut to alll the gifts and attention, or lack of attention, the other powers would get us. Exploration is more than possible if the involved people were properly motivated and funded, both of which mentalism can supply.

You do need a magic power to get smarter over time. You may learn other things, become more educated, but you won't get smarter. There are things you can do to maybe increase your cognitive abilities on a minor level, but you certainly won't be going from an 80 to a 160 IQ.
