    Bored and bemused at work today and this came out...

    Existential Poem # 1,954,987

    From Abyss to Abyss

    And between, solitude of experience.

    Isolation of the subjective.

    For anything shared is distorted through the prisms of what came before.

    Randomness exemplified, patterns made by chaotic happenstance and adherence to iron laws.

    Fracturing experience into unique response.

    Shared experiences transmogrified to islands of seclusions.

    Having common only the ground submerged by the rough oceans of heuristic mechanism.

    The only succor, myths and untruths.

    The patina of meaning stretched taught over the lattice of absurd compulsions.

    Here I walk in the now, the only place that exists.

    The past only legend, the future only rumor.

    Mine not to chart the course, merely to revel in the movement.

    From rough birth to dusty death.

    All the time in the world.

    Abyss Now Abyss.
    To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow, creeps in this petty pace from day to day, To the last syllable of recorded time;
    And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player

    I've started deleting these spam posts again. I was noticing links in old ones that were not deleted. I think the new meta here is that they make these innocuous posts, then come back and add sigs and hyperlinks when the thread is dead. Maybe for search engines to find.
