    Default MMO News: FF14 and Camelot Unchained

    There are two bits of news for FF14. First off there are upcoming combat changes that are intended to reduce skill clutter and redundancy. The second bit of news is the upcoming Stormblood expansion coming this summer that will add the Samurai class, a new city/adventure hub, and housing improvements.

    There is a weekly progress report about Camelot Unchained that mentions the development of their new game engine and promises Beta 1 for later this year.

    ooooo Samurai. M did not mention Samurai.

    How is that class going to play in FF14? In tactics they were two hand sword users with PBAoE magic.
    Nowadays when people start to get killed by fireballs, no one says they need to dodge the fireball anymore; they say they need to go get a fire resist ring and some ice damage so they don't have to.
