Yeah at this point, it feels like all the information we get is nothing but an extended set of blogs.

Brietbart has really jumped the shark this past 3-4 months and has gone downhill dramatically. They've fired some of their best people and become what they stood against under Bannon's leadership.

He believes the Harvard/YouGov researchers based their “zero” claim on two flawed assumptions. First, they assumed that people who said they voted and identified a candidate did not vote unless their names showed up in a database.
“This is illogical, because such databases are unlikely to verify voters who use fraudulent identities, and millions of noncitizens use them,” Mr. Agresti said.
He cites government audits that show large numbers of noncitizens use false IDs and Social Security numbers in order to function in the U.S., which could include voting.

Second, Harvard assumed that respondent citizens sometimes misidentified themselves as noncitizens but also concluded that noncitizens never misidentified themselves as citizens, Mr. Agresti said.
“This is irrational, because illegal immigrants often claim they are citizens in order to conceal the fact that they are in the U.S. illegally,” he said.
    *sigh*

I don't know if I like this guy Argesti or not, but is sad to read that the MSM narrative was based on this...

Nowadays when people start to get killed by fireballs, no one says they need to dodge the fireball anymore; they say they need to go get a fire resist ring and some ice damage so they don't have to.

    I mean....

    That's like social science 101.

You've got an egotistical guy, and you say he won't/probably won't do it for "reason". He's probably going to go do it simply because you said he wouldn't.

Right, but CNN was stating an expectation as a fact. They said they had "sources" telling them this. This bullshit about "sources" is the last bastion for a lot of people who don't believe most of the news is completely made up. They still trust that there's someone out there with first hand knowledge that outlets like CNN are giving a platform when it's really just some bigwig at CNN telling the talking heads to push a narrative.

If I claimed for a week straight that "sources close to Pyrrhus" were telling me he's not that guy, and then you show up and it only takes offering $3.50 to get you to eat a ghost pepper that means either my "sources" were bullshit, or my sources were full of shit and I was so taken in that I put their shit on the national stage. Either way, I'm fake.

I get that real insiders that give information to a journalist must be kept anonymous but there's supposed to be another layer in there where knowledge from insiders is able to be corroborated or is actionable or leads to some other material that can be released without compromising the source.
