    Default Fake News Thread

We've always known MSM is full of shit, but lately I've seen some really crystal clear examples fly by. There was OZX messaging me on STEAM saying the Pizzagate thing that turned out to be nothing according to MSM, resulted in a ton of arrests but I don't know if that was true. Then there was Trump saving jobs and the media claiming there were no jobs going away, when the companies had already announced new facilities elsewhere. Then there was the one where during the last presidential campaign several media outlets reported him as being under investigation at the order of the Obama administration over ties to Russia, and those Outlets now saying he was never surveiled and there was no reason to think he was... I just keep reading the news sites and feeling this weird backwards Deja Vu.

    Now I see this shit:
    https://arstechnica.com/security/201...terious-patch/

Weren't there a bunch of articles from MSM sites claiming that whole leak was outdated and useless? Then they were horrible again? Then they were useless again?

I need to start keeping track of these things because I can't decide if I'm remembering incorrectly or just biased. This thread is for bookmarking articles that are bullshit, along with either proof, direct contradiction from the same outlet, or prediction of proof/contradiction.

Nowadays when people start to get killed by fireballs, no one says they need to dodge the fireball anymore; they say they need to go get a fire resist ring and some ice damage so they don't have to.

I like the idea of this thread. The most recent bullshit that comes to mind is the repeal of the last minute (not even implemented) Obama shift of regulation from the FTC to the FCC on broadband providers being "the end of internet privacy"; when really it's maintaining the status quo and preventing duplicative and/or useless regulation and additional overhead/cost/taxes on ISP's.

I've been googling to see what the U.S.' "proof" was that Assad (and some keep trying to claim Putin himself) was responsible for the chemical weapons attack. I've seen both sides of these supposed pictures of chemical weapons containers at the base, but found this link helpful. Posting here and now because I'm curious to see if MSM picks this up and throws these pics around later. Again, as a U.S. patriot I am forced to stand by Putin here. His explanation makes the most sense and fits the evidence.

Breakdown showing the munitions that use the containers:

    Russian man standing with them.
Not sure who he is or what's going on but it gives a better look than the photos did.

A great breakdown of a fake news video put out by Vox:

This poor Syrian girl, always involved in all bad things in Syria. At least she's always rescued and featured in MSNBC and CNN cover stories.

If this is also the same girl, at least she has a good agent.

Yeah, guy is full of interesting contradictions. His "world view" I think has been badly damaged by recent events and he's not taking it well. Still, overall the video offers an interesting perspective so I shared it.

    OMG I love /pol/'s twitter.

Some of it is just their share of one-sided stuff, but they actually post links, pictures, reasoning and backup on a lot of these. It's more to go on than anything I've seen in a long time. And it's hillarious. I might have to switch my tablet to cellular instead of work wifi and lurk /pol/ if work doesn't keep me busy this weekend.

8ch's pol tends to be vastly superior to halfchan's, because they are much more aggressive in rooting out shareblue/mediamatters types of interlopers.

Who cares how many people showed up? Crowd sizes aren't everything... no biggie...

Says the network that would not shut up about calling out Trump over this for a week or two.

I posted the same thing at 8:32 this morning, between you and Marou ignoring my other post about the Truth being racist and reposing it, I'm starting to think you guys aren't reading my links.

I read your Patriots post, I dunno what the other thing is.

/edit: Oh, I didn't read closely enough and thought they were unrelated events. The person who they were protested didn't stick to me as important since these people always be protestin someone.

You didn't post the same thing. You posted the thing with the patriots. I read it. I found an article about it where the author takes a hypocritical (for the network, maybe not for the author in particular) stance on the discussion surrounding the patriots thing.

I wonder if that was their version of a "correction".

    Probably...

Deadly unrest continues in Venezuela as president's Ł390,000 Trump party donation is revealed

Of course, these protests are trying to overthrow the oppressive marxist/socialist government there, but why let the truth get in the way of a little Trump bashing.

Yah, I actually have a clip of it linked above. Along with another news site doing the same thing.
